Are you sure MDM?
AFAIK you can listen to music from dawn - go ask your LOR; maybe there are different opinions (I also think you're getting mixed up with 10th Av). Chatzos is after 1pm, not sure when; Newsie I think you didn't add an hour for Summer Time.

I was also wondering, as I know they blast music in Meron and every other community here in Yerushalayim last night.

My dh definitely said you can't hear music at night, only from the morning (I think he said that's from the Mishna Brura) 'cos I asked him again last night.

Well, I wish they held that way in Bayit Vegan- my baby kept waking up from the loud music from the big concert near the bonfire.
(I didn't add an hour- you're right- I just went to a zmanim website and didn't add the hour)

Well there was plenty of guitars round the bonfires last night and I remember that in previous years too.
In fact I have a photo from my year in Neve yerushalayim of us on Lag Baomer with guitars round a fire. And that was 26 years ago!
So I guess it depends who you ask !
