The whole kitchen is being redone--cabinets and counter tops too--before I move in which is why I don't know if over mount or under mount is needed. I'll try to find out from management tomorrow. It's a rental, so I don't think they'd want to spend a ton of money on a sink. Right now I have an over mount double sink with twelve inch depth on one side and eight on the other, so I'm definitely used to the deep sink and want the new one to be as deep. (My current sink is reeeeally old - probably original to when the apartment building was built.)

Find out the size, too. If ends up being undermount (chances are they'll be putting in laminate counters so it'll have to be drop-in) I think you'll find that a 10" is almost the same as the 12" that you're used to.

Very delayed response... sink will be an over mount 33 x 22. The one management ordered is 7 inches deep one which is way too shallow for me, so I would like to buy a deeper one (at least 10 inches but 12 is better) and have the super install that instead. Any help would be appreciated!
