I would. Leggings are majorly back in style now also. Not the old leg warmers but tights without the foot part.

can I respectfully ask, what is the point of such stockings? I thought women who always wear stockings are trying to also cover the toes.
I would never wear those. as soon as I can take off the tights and socks, the sandals come out and I dont put any stockings/tights/socks back on untill it rains or gets cold again.

I think I bought a pair once by accident. For me, they were very uncomfortable. that little piece between the big toe and the next toe didn't not feel good at all- like wearing flip flops that cut into you there.
practically, they're a good idea, cuz like shalhevet, so many of my hose look like that on their own!
