Just curious where everyone shops for their toddlers for affordable shabbos/yom tov clothing.
I often find the Jewish stores have prices that are out of my budget and I hear that some ppl get stuff online (like ive heard ppl go to zara or hm or who knows where else) but I find the prices not to be great either or I dont find anything and the other typical inexpensive online kids stores I cant find a decent shabbos yom tov collection to begin with.
Also curious about coats that are suitable for both weekday/shabbos.
would love to hear what everyone else does?
(do you just swallow it and swipe your cc hundreds for all your kids??? Even tho it aint in the budget?)
Thanks!

I find pieces I like online and complete the outfits locally.
Last year I found 2 beautiful skirts online and paired them with solid shells from the shell sttaion and added a large fur bow/flower to each top.
This year I found coordinating sweaters online and paired them with leather skirts I found locally.

Same amother here.
For my toddler I paired the sweater with leather pants.
Found another pair of pants I liked and paired it with a solid shell.
Found an extra pants and top at the gap on a great sale.

So the Gap is where you find stuff?
I havent been so successful with that but could be hit or miss I guess.
I also am looking for my toddler boy and I find alot of the online stuff is more cool and hipster like jeans and print tee shirt stuff... not so much dress stuff.
A friend just told me she thinks diapers.com has some inexpensive dress stuff and she said she can get me a discount coupon so I'll see what that has to offer.
Anyone else have any leads?

Anyone else have any leads? | You can pair something like this with a light blue dress shirt and dress pants for example.

This vest, cap and tie can be paired with a dress shirt and pants.

You can do this jacket with the herring bone vest and cap.

Or the herrington vest and pants.

I've been loving Zara's lately-- we have a store with the kids' section near me. I find you have to see their stuff in person.

I find their stuff to be really bad quality. Is that just me?

I actually got my 2 yr old dd a couple of things in target. A stunning off white t shirt with lace on it for example, $8.
I get a lot of stuff from zaras, but their stuff don't was/wear well, barley last a season. I had a hard time with DS this year, size 12-18 months. I bit the bullet and bought 1 super expensive outfit at a Jewish store and a couple of tops and pants from H&M, not as shabbosdik, but def not $$$. I also got 1 sweater from zaras for him, will pair with H&M pants.
Last year I got 2 stunning Shabbos coats from crazy 8 for my big girls for like $27 each on sale. I love that site.

I second Target. They had some adorable girls tops this season.
I also find some stuff at Carters. I found a cute skirt there and they have really nice dresses. Their clothes run a little wide though, so my skinny daughter doesn't do well in them.

I third target. I found some really cute stuff there too. I just ordered a few really cute tops for my daughter and leggings, I don't find as much boys nicer clothing there though.
I can't either shop in the jewish stores, I went to one yesterday and the clothing was way out of my price range. I don't know how people on a budget shop for multiple kids in Jewish stores. I went to Jersey Gardens recently and really stocked up there.
-Carters had some cute shabbisdik stuff but not much.
-I got most of the stuff in the gap outlet so it was even cheaper.
-Macy's.com has some cute outfits especially for boys and its even cheaper with coupons.
-H&M also has cardigans and pants for cheap ($7-$10).

I try to never shop in the Jewish stores because I refuse to pay those prices for clothing that is only going to be worn for a few months.
I also love Target. Kohl's is great too. I've done well at Carter's, especially at the outlet stores. This time of year I also like to shop at Burlington Coat Factory.

The few Jewish shops I've seen were totally not my speed or crazy prices- also for adults.
I will buy anywhere. Ebay, kids shops, H&M...
