Its been pretty quiet here. Wanted to start a new topic that we all should try to follow. Anything that we are thankful for in life, in our life specifically or whatever you make of it. Looking forward to hearing from ya'll:
I look at you
See your round face
Beautiful lips
And twinkle in your eye
You're my neshama
My heart and soul
You bring me joy
From the inside out
You bring tears to my eyes
Tears of nachas
You remind me of all
The beautiful things in life
So inoccent
So sweet
So tender
And fine
I prayed to God
over & over
He answered me
When you filled my life
You're my little miracle
You're the answer to my prayer
You're the perfect blessing
You are my child.

To my Father Above,
I'm sorry I haven't talked to you in a while. Things, as You know, have been a little difficult. But this letter is not going to be sad or angry. This is just a simple thank you letter. I want to tell you that I think about You every day. I know that You are the One protecting me and taking care of me. So I write this letter to say thank you.
Thank you for doing things for me even when I don't undertand or don't know. Thank you for not giving me everything I ask for. Thank you for guiding me through these hard times and giving me small gifts in between. Thank you for not abandoning me and always keeping me warm and safe. Thank you for being patient with me and giving me room to grow at my own pace. Thank you for putting people in my life that are kind and genuine. Thank you for being my Father.
Love,
Your Daughter

Mommy mommy
my sweet girl cries
I have a boo boo
there're tear in her eyes
I was running around
and tripped on a stick
And I couldnt get up
It hurts me, come quick
My little boy comes in
and is crying sad tears
I gather him in my arm
And try to calm his fears
A big doggie chased me
He mumbles in dispair
I couldnt get away fast enough
I couldnt dissapear
A signle friend calls me
Heartbroken, alone
When will my yeshua come,
I hear the fear thru the phone
Day in day out,
I yearn for companionship
Im just about giving up,
But you tell me not to quit
I am just grateful
For the little small things
My beautiful child,
My husband who sings
We cant forget
How much we are loved
From our father,
The one above

I guess I should appreciate
The blessings in my life
To some I am a glorified maid
My husband though, calls me wife
I guess I should appreciate
The roof over my head
But it's been leaking puddles
In the spot above my bed
I guess I should appreciate
The fact that I have a car
But it's a clunker run on gas
And it can't take me really far
I guess I should appreciate
All the good things that are mine
But to do that I’d need rose color glasses
And my old ones still work fine!
