| I fail to see why it's hilarious, and not just petty and nasty, to make fun of other posters this way. You don't see the need for a forum? DON'T GO THERE. On so many levels. Glass houses, people. Grow up a little.

There are ways of having fun that don't involve belittling the concerns of other women here. You don't need to share their concerns; you don't even need to agree that they are valid concerns. But don't mock them just because you don't share their problems or their perspectives.

People are laughing at how they are not gifted or rich or otherwise unusual. The joke is on the average janes, not those who are geniuses or have genius kids or whatever else.
At least that's how I read it.
