I'm looking for something else to do with ground beef/turkey besides meatballs.
Also, preferably nothing with Puff Pastry dough either.. Thanks.

Spaghetti Bologonnaise,
you can do patties, same mix as meatballs, just flatten into ovals, and fry.

Shepherd's Pie from KBD entertains is YUMMY- we make it for Shabbos lunch often.
Veal loaf from KBD original tastes amazing, and looks so fancy, and I've made it with Beef before, it still comes out well.

Two-Toned Chicken-Beef Roll
1-1/2 lbs ground beef
1 onion, grated
1 egg, beaten
3 Tbsp matzah meal
2 cloves garlic, minced
(salt, optional)
1-1/2 lbs ground chicken breasts
1 onion, grated
1 egg, beaten
3 Tbsp matzah meal
2 cloves garlic, minced
(salt, optional)
water
1 onion sliced
dash paprika
1/2 tsp salt
In a large bowl mix the ground beef mixture. Don't overhandle.
In a separate bowl, mix the ground chicken mixture.
To assemble: cut 2 pieces of foil 12x16". Spread the chicken on one and the beef on the other. Meat mixtures should cover pieces of foil entirely.
Place foil with chicken mixture chicken side down over beef mixture. Remove top foil. Roll like a jelly roll from the wide side and wrap tightly in foil.
Place a roasting pan with 1-inch of water, onion, paprika, and salt. Bake for 1 hour at 350.
Alternatively, foil wrapped roll can be boiled in a large pot for 1-1/2 hours, covered on medium flame.
HINT: For smooth slices, freeze before slicing. Then defrost and rewarm.
(You can serve this was a sauce if you'd like.)
There are also recipes for stuffed meat loaf spiral and meat knishes if you'd like.
