I have decided that next year my son will be going to a playgroup and not back to his current sitter. The sitter and her assistant are really lovely and have done a great job taking care of my son while I work. I would like to get them each a small gift (around $20) to show my appreciation. Need some ideas. The sitter is a mom of 8 (oldest in 12th grade, youngest 1 year). The assistant is a widow with one married daughter. I am not really sure what would be appropriate. Here are some ideas:
- a gift certificate for a snood store?
-gift cert. for a seforim store (tapes, toys, etc)
need some better suggestions from you guys!

I think a gift certificate is a good idea...but I like to give to a store where they can "treat" themselves to something they like. (I dont' mean food).
For me it would be for natural body care products, or natural makeup etc.
In terms of a basket ,I wouldn't want to pick it out for them because you never know what people like. (I love vanilla, some people hate it)
Good luck.
I'm sure they'll be touched by whatever you give them
