HELP!!
Every night, when the house is all quite, the kids are asleep, and I'm off to take my usual shower.
You can hear me let out a loud "Shreek"....
Cuz, every night, we have a whole family of SLUGS visiting us.
They come in through the laundry porch, and then into the bathroom.
I've tried sprinkling a GENEROUS amount of SALT at the entrance.
But, it doesn't seem to be helping.
I prefer not to use any Chemicals. As I have little kids.
Does anybody have any advice?
I think I'm starting to go a little "Meshugah"!!!!

USE MORE SALT!!!!!!
We also have had slug problems in the past. They will not cross a line of salt. If ithe salt is just sprinkled about then they will go around it, but they will not attempt to get past a solid line of salt as it will for sure kill them.
Alternative method - not to be used if you are squeemish. Place a saucer of beer on the floor. The slugs are attracted and will jump/slime their way in. They get shikker and cannot get out. Yuck. (I have not tried this method!)

When I was child, having a pet slug was trendy at school. I had one, called Luce. Interesting, huh?

eeew!!!!!! what is slugs? The fat white worms?
I also have a problem- everytime I go to the basement & sometimes the kitchen, there is a nice, bug, ugly water bug laying there dead- upside down with feet in air. Does anyone know why they come & also how do they die? I mean, b"h they're dead when I come home but I was wondering how do they pass over to the afterlife?

Bugs don't bother me, but I HATE slugs! They're so gross!
During the summer when I go for walks at night they're everywhere.

OK!
So yesterday I took a bag of Kashering Salt, and poured about half of it all along the door way (VERY solid line of salt!!!!)
So far - so good!!!
(a few days ago, my daughter (preschooler) was holding a little baggy with something brown in-side.... she wouldn't let me see what it was, and it took me a while to get her to show me - well.... guess what was inside....
A SLUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!
I was so freaked out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Hopefully, I won't be seeing that EVER again!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
