There are a few restaurants in NY that have heavy paper covering the table instead of cloth tablecloths and crayons are available for patrons to doodle or play tic tac toe while their food is being prepared.
It's so stupidly simple! Have that for the kids table and at each place setting, a small box of crayons!! Just make sure they're the non-toxic ones of course.
And if you're feeling really industrious, make a Purim coloring/activity booklet for the kids...

Yeah, Dougie's Brooklyn is fancy, with chandeliers and such, and there we are, writing on the tables, lol!
