But not in Nahariah. Do I tell my kids we might have katyushas heading towards us (again)? Or wait until they hear it on the street? 2 of my big kids are home sick today so they won't hear at school. If I don't tell them it gives them a few more hours of being regular kids instead of starting th ptsd memories.
of the last war.

We also have a place this Shabbot. We have 2 beds in a spare room, and I can move my baby out to let kids sleep in his room on a matresses, and an empty top bunk in the girls' room. Anyone who needs a spot is free to PM me. We're modern / Torahni, but I have no problem buying whatever hechsher someone wants, etc.

Thanks for the offer. But IY"H I hope not to leave this time. We have one room that could be made pretty safe.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{I was thinking about the poor kids up north}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} and their mommies, of course.
None of us are safe.
The Darom people were invited to come to us in the "Shomron lite" but no one responded. I guess they still percieve this as dangerous, even these days.
Northern people did come over the summer 2.5 years ago.

of course I told my kids. show them that you're calm and tell them that we're all davening and that iy"h everything will be okay, but ch"v if something happens, they MUST be somewhat prepared! it's better to hear it from ima than to suddenly hear the boom of the katyusha. besides, they need some basic instructions as to what to do if they're outdoors when something happens CHAS VESHOLOM.
