Urgent: I need to decide where to buy Granite for Counters.
I got two very different prices from two different Granite fabricators for the same type of granite.
The way more expensive quote is for a prettier granite, but to save money (many thousands). I can live with the one thats less pretty. The cheaper quote when you run your hand on it, in a few places. you feel uneven lines in the granite. To the eyes, it looks fine. I was told that these are "fissures", and natural in all granite slabs, and the fabricator can "buff these out", before they do any work. Has anyone had experience with "fissures"?
I definitely doidnt notice it as much in the more expensive granite.
Any chance these fissures will become cracks, later on?
