Is Friends (the movie series) considered clean?

Do you mean the TV series?
If so:
It was shown on regular prime-time TV (not cable), so there is no explicit nudity, cursing, etc.
But there are frequent references to sx, including pre-marital sx.

I love friends too and now im pregnant and nauseous and it really helps me relax..
Someone just mentioned to me that its important to watch what you watch/see in pregnancy as it affects the baby
It will be so hard for me to give it up...but I think its the right thing. |
I totally feel you. I watched straight thru the first trimester to get thru the nausea too. I did try to stop past 20 weeks because I read that that's when the baby starts seeing and hearing it's surroundings. And then after I had my babies, it was my lifeline thru those endless hours of nursing and pumping.
But now I stopped, completely. I just felt like I have to do my part in bringing moshiach. And I was honestly thinking would I want to go greet moshiach with the inappropriate scenes from Friends playing in my mind....
It's murder. But feels amazing that I could control myself. I never thought I could do it and yet here I am over a year later and still going strong bh bh!

So, grape, are we to understand from your post that after Mashiach comes you will resume watching Friends? Will it be less objectionable then?

Also I think when moshiach comes we won't have a yetzer hara for that. We'll be too busy watching the kohanim bringing korbanos and hearing the leviim singing shir hamaalos and just being close to Hashem... That's what I think

You said you made a kabalah not to watch till Mashiach comes. That implies an endpoint to the resolution when Mashiach comes, just as when you say "I'll stay in this neighborhood till my kids finish school", you imply that once they finish school, you intend to move out.
I believe in precise speech, not sloppy verbiage.
