Has it? Not heard that it closed but did hear it went up to £40 recently.

It's currently closed until further notice. I think it got very complicated. People weren't able/willing to pay £40, but apparently it's gotten too expensive for them to run the mikva otherwise.
I personally haven't used it since I moved away from salford, but I imagine the other 2 mikvas are going to be even busier than normal.

There were/are issues when they started digging years ago.. There were unexpected expenses when it was built and it seems the upkeep too.

How come it's not been advertised that it's closed? How can they just close without letting everyone know?

I heard it's open by appointment only, and only if you pay in full on arrival.
I was recently (last couple of years) told about the Sedley Park Road one and have been so happy there, but I'm not sure if it's going to get too busy now!
