This might be a long shot but I figured it's worth a try:
I grew up out of town and went to camp Gan Yisrael for several summers. It was run by teenage counselors (whom we loved!) and they used to sing this song that had lyrics like..."I am yearning for and I would love to be a good old rebbe's wife, a good old rebbitzen..." as the chorus.

Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? I can hear the tune in my head and a few other lyrics but that's most of what I remember.
It may not have specifically been a chabad song but I'm assuming it might be just based on the context:)

Curious if anyone recognizes or knows the rest of this song...

Some girls agree
A doctor would be
The husband to fill her heart with joy
Others prefer
A silver fox fur
No matter who is standing at her side.
But I am longing yearning as I've always been
To be a rabbi's wife A good old rebbitzen

I also grew up in the 80s. Not chabad and I think I heard that song once in a bais yaakov oot day camp. Don't ask how I remember it but glad to do a chesed on motzei yk!

How I remember it:

Most girls agree
A doctor would be
A husband to fill their heart with joy.

Others prefer
A silver fox fur
No matter who is standing by her side.

But I am yearning for
As I've always been
To be a rabbi's wife
A good old Rebbetzin!

To this I must confess
I won't find happiness
Until I'm a good old Rebbetzin.
