I feel like dh and my pillows go so fast. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong or they’re really supposed to be changed every 6 months to a year.

Is there a good quality and comfortable pillow that you recommend?

What is the reason you are getting new pillows?
Maybe you need nicer pillows. We have been married a decade and got new pillows 2 years ago, but the old ones were still good and got passed down to our kids.

What's happening to your pillows that they have to be replaced more often? Are they flat, stained? Proper casings can extend the life of a pillow.

Use a pillow protector or wash them 2x a year. Better yet send them to the dry cleaners. I get new ones every 3/4 years.

They’re just so flat and uncomfortable. Not like “sinking into a soft pillow” should feel like. I usually buy them in Costco. Is there a better quality pillow I should buy?

What kind of pillows in terms of what is inside?

I bought some expensive goose down pillows that were medium firm as there were three options. After three years they are still like new. I use a pillow protector of course and change the pillow case every week.

I bought a lot of cheap pillows filled with fake stuff and foam of various kinds and they aren’t that durable but they are good as spares. I also bought a pillow with a foam interior surrounded by down which is durable but not that comfortable.

Try the mastertex pillows you can find them in any frum dry goods store.

We got the Costco pillows too. They became flat very fast. Would totally not recommend anymore.
