My knit skirt shrunk what looks like 2 sizes by accidentally going into the dryer!! I can't afford another one and can't lose the skirt
It is a heavy knit material. Any ideas? I'm desperate

Strech when wet and air dry.

Thanks. I mean how do I stretch it while it is wet? I'm not sure pulling it would be enough.

Pin to a heavy blanket and let dry. But two sizes is a lot. If it's synthetic, it may be a total loss. Natural fabrics are easier to stretch back to size.
