I don't know what makes me more anxious - keeping them on or taking them off?!
The engagement ring thread reminded me of this, summer is coming and I usually go to the pool a few times. I feel like I'm more likely to lose the ring if I take it off, no matter how carefully I try to store it. But to risk losing it in the pool either... (shudder).
My rings are a drop loose because my knuckles are a funny bony shape that if they were tighter they wouldn't go on and off at all. Also my weight/fat fluctuates and if I'd resize I would probably end up stuck in a few months. But it's not at all far-fetched that they could slip off in water. I had one slip off recently while mixing a greasy batter by hand - the batter was a lot more slippery than water but it was a good alert that my rings are not snug enough!
Wdyd?!

I leave them home like I do when I go to the Mikvah or any other place I don’t want to wear them.
I have a jewelry box and I know they are in there.
Do you have any other Kallah or other jewelry? Whee do you keep it. I imagine you don’t wear it all the time.

Chlorine ruins gold. So add that to another reason to take them off. Leave them at home when you swim.
