This is my first fall season in our new home and I need some help. Throughout this spring/summer aI have been trying to take care of the beautiful landscaping the previous owners lovingly planted and took care of. Now that it’s the fall season, and how am I supposed to take care of these plants?
I have a hydrangea bush with dried out pinkish flowers (that used to be white.) a bunch of Adams needle bushes with a tall dead stick coming out the middle, tomato plants, a small blueberry bush, prickly pear plant, and a bunch of other bushes and leafy greens.
Anything I should know? Just throw them out as they die? Will everything grow back next year? (What about if I try to pull out the sticks from the Adams needle? Is that the “roots? Should I just try to trim down?)
Thanks for your help.
