What can I substitute for liquid in libby's pumpkin pie recipe besides creamer or coconut milk? Anything simple healthy and pareve that I can use as I substitute? Would soy or almond milk work? (I thought I heard it is too liquidy.

I've used water in the past, and it was fine. Perhaps not as rich-tasting, but still tasty enough for me to consume entirely too many slices.

You can reduce pareve milk on the stovetop to make a faux evaporated milk.

Personally I just use Chobani Extra Creamy Oat Milk straight from the bottle and haven't had a problem... Smile

I think you can use any pareve milk. Almond or soy should be fine.

I use soy milk. I’ve used almond milk too, but the flavor comes through and not everyone liked it as much.
