Looking for a top, best of the best gastro in New York area. Someone that specializes in Crohns and Colitis in adults. This is a first for us in this area and we are kind of lost and don’t know where to begin looking.
Thanks in advance

PLEASE do yourself a favor and use a GI who is knowledgable and supportive of the SCD diet (specific carbohydrate diet) used specifically to treat crohns and collitis. Just in case you ever decide to try it-a supportive GI makes a world of difference. (There has been much research about scd diet recently, with overwhelmingly positive results. Many doctors have been jumping on board, but there are still old timers who refuse to acknowledge it, and that can be detrimental if you want to try it instead of/addition to meds)

Dr. Legnani's practice is supportive. One might still want to take medication at the same time.
