Looking to purchase a new broom for my hardwood floors. Is there anything specific I should look for? Any recommendations?

Horsehair. Expensive, but lasts for decades if you treat it right (don't leave it resting on the floor on the bristles: either stand it up with the bristles up, or hang it up so the bristles are off the floor) and doesn't scratch the way plastic can. Mine is 40 years old and is still great.

I recently bought one in bingo. I think it's Israeli. Rubber bristles that glide amazing on the hardwood floors and make it a breeze to sweep! It's a red and black broom
