My 6 year old just told me that at school they learned a shofar has to come from a ram's horn, but they have a "kid" in the class who has horns they can use--his friend Keren!
Okay, I'm easily amused, but it's cute when he grins and tells me this.

"keren" means horn in Hebrew, but it is also used as a proper name. Sorry--didn't mean it to be an "in" joke.
