I re-potted fully bloomed Celosia in planters for the front of my house.
First week they were bright and beautiful.. but slowly they've begun to droop and droop and droop. The color is still beautiful. The stems and leaves are not brown. They are just not holding themselves up. I make sure soil's moist and water every day.
I thought perhaps I'm over-watering...so left them to dry a bit. But, nada. If anything they got a little worse. My gardener had told me they should be lasting through early December.
They make me so happy every time I see them. They are so wintery and velvet and the color is a deep dark pink. But now.. they seem to be sadly dying.
Any garden enthusiasts here that can help me get my lovely Celosia back?

Depending on your zone the plant will grow as an annual or a perennial (zones 10 and 11). I'm guess you are in a zone where they would grow as annuals and you planted them at a time the days were growing shorter. Just a guess.

Yes, I did plant it as an annual. But how does that matter re: their droopiness? Any advice Magenta?
