Pea soup:
Dice a large onion, sautee it in the pot until transluscent.
Add around 4 cups of water mixed with chicken consoumme or chicken stock
Add a bag of frozen peas and a can of peas, let simmer and then blend with immersion blender.
Season with some garlic salt and worchestershire sauce.

Sometimes I make a more interesting pea soup with the addition of any or all of the following: beans, barley, brown rice, ground sausage, soy sauce.
My kids love it with potatoes. I also add sweet potato, but I put it in whole for the taste and don't serve it, because my kids don't like it.
