Anyone? My DH has been begging for weeks but I just don't have the equipment. He also wants creamy potato kugel like the Chassidim serve....again- how do I achieve that without proper equipment? Box grater just didn't do it. There needs to be a cookbook for cooking "tool-free".

something just need tools.
You can try the tom dip with a stick/hand blender, but it won't come out the same.
Good Luck!

You can use a can of crushed tomatoes and make a cooked tomato dip, like matbucha.

Ifyou can find a safety grater, you can hand grate the potato kugel.

Good Luck! | All it takes is some practice, and it comes out great with a hand blender.
OP, would you purchase a small food processor with good reviews for around $30?
