I also wouldn't freeze cole slaw with all the works, but I would freeze raw cabbage if it's going to be cooked after defrosted.

sure you can freeze it. you just can't defrost it and expect it to crunch like cole slaw. just about anything can be frozen, though

I freeze bags of coleslaw mix (unseasoned) and use them in stir fries. But I would not freeze coleslaw.

I saw a recipe for coleslaw davkah to freeze it. it didn't appeal to me though
