This is a poll, as I recently had this discussion and want to prove a point.
There are three ways to put on a bra, which way is your way?
1. Over the head, leaving the snaps shut (not sport bras, but the type with hooks)
2. On the Front-hooking it in and then turning it around
3. On the Back-finding the hooks with your hands in back.
4. Other, you never know.....

I voted on the back, but maybe I'm other? I hook it in the back, but I find the hooks before I put it on and fold it over so the hooks are exposed and I don't have to search for it blindly once it's on. Do I make sense? Anyways, that makes it really easy for me. I've been doing it that way since I started wearing bras.

lol what a funny question! I hook it at the front, then turn it round and put the straps over my arms. can't see how anyone could do it straight from the back without looking

I put my arms in, then hook it in back, then "adjust" myself as needed.

Haha, it is something of a strange poll, but I don't think it's necessarily a troll. I'm definitely a real married lady (I guess you'll have to take my word for that one), but I am still curious about other women's habits, especially ones that aren't generally discussed and that I developed my own methods for. I always see women in the movies/TV hooking their bra in the back as if it were the easiest thing in the world, but I definitely prefer to put it on already hooked, or to at least hook it in the front.

I have to laugh at the "troll" comments. I can't imagine a man coming on imamother to ask about how you put on a bra nor can I imagine a vicious argument about different methods of putting on a bra. Hopefully, I will not be proven wrong either way.

What about stepping into it with your feet and then pulling it up?
What about when my lady in waiting holds it open for me and I step into it?
What about when I place the bra on my bed and fall into it in one swoop motion?
I feel like there are many options missing from this very informative poll.

So I am the OP and I am not a troll.
This is a discussion I had with my teenage daughter. Apparently because today's teens start out with a sports bra, they get used to putting it on over their head. When they make the switch to a regular bra with hooks, they leave the hooks closed and put it on the same way. I wanted to show her that the majority do as I do, close it in back. However I see that plenty of people hook it in front and turn it around. I guess its whatever you get used to.

oh, that happened to me. sorry for thinking u were a troll... but now I do it the right way, cuz my mom asked why all my bras were getting ruined and then she showed me the right way :-)
