I need to buy a new marttress for a cot someone gave me. does it really matter what kind? can I just get the cheapest? is there more or less comfy for the baby? or better for babys back?
baby is almost 6 months.
im seeing foam matress is the cheapest. is that ok ?

a mattress that is too thin may be uncomfortable for the baby. Also a better quality mattress will last longer, My portocrib mattress is on child #4 and each of my kids used it for a minimum of a year. the mattress still looks and feels like new. a cheap mattress means you will be buying a new one in a year or two.
