Pan Seared Tilapia
• 4 tilapia fillets
• 3 garlic cloves garlic, crushed
• 1 Tbsp paprika
• 1 Tbsp dried parsley flakes
• 1-1/2 tsp Kosher salt
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• 3 Tbsp olive oil
Combine garlic, paprika, parsley, salt, pepper, and olive oil in a small bowl or plastic cup.
Brush tops of tilapia very generously with half of the paste.
Lightly grease a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the tilapia, seasoned side down, into the hot frying pan. Sear for about 7 minutes.
Brush the other side of the tilapia with the rest of the paste. Flip, and sear for 4 more minutes.

Moroccan Fish
2-2 1/2 lbs. fish
2 TBSP oil
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 C water
1 1/2-2 lemons
1/2 C chopped Italian parsley OR cilantro
S&P
Put oil in frying pan. Add parsley OR cilantro, lemon juice, tomato sauce and water. Boil for about 5 minutes. Add S&P to taste. Add fish, turning once or twice. Cook until done. Remove fish and reduce sauce. Put in Tupperware-type container, top with reduced sauce and put in fridge covered. Serve cold. Makes a great first course for Shabbos.
Also, you can saute the fish in margarine or oil with fresh herbs, S & P and serve alongside a veg atop rice. We do that all the time and I think it's the easiest and best way to serve hot.
