Does anyone have a recipe for russian cole slaw? I had it recently by someone's house (store bought) and have been craving it since then. Thanks

Is that the non-mayo one with slightly sweet and sour vinaigrette? Then try this one
1 head white cabbage, outer leaves removed, cored and shredded
2 carrots, peeled and shredded
Mix all below for dressing:
1/2 cup boiling water
1/2 cup apple or grain vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 teasp salt
(optional: some grainy mustard, chopped dills or 1-2 crushed garlic cloves)
Pour dressing over cabbage/carrots, let marinate for 1/2 day.
