I never boil meatballs, I sautted them with onions until brown all around, then pour in sauce and simmer for 20 minutes or so.. is that what you mean by frying?

some of the pickier eaters in my house don't like the sauce, so I bake the meatballs plain (350 for 25-30 min) and add the sauce later. would that work for you?

If you don't mean in sauce like Shoy18 said, you can prob. deep fry them, but that would be totally fattening and unhealthy, but it will prob. taste good, and if you don't have a deep fryer then it would make a real mess.

If you want to fry, then what you can do is flatten them into hambergers and fry them.

Enjoy Very Happy

Thank you all for your ideas.
Sonnibonni- what you said is what I meant (great minds think alike Wink )
I guess meatballs, meatloaf and hamburgers are all basically the same thing.

I get the extra lean meat and bake them, but we don't eat that much red meat. Maybe I buy it twice a year.....you see, I grew up with a dad and sister with heart problems, and we never even had salt in the house.

To this day, I'm careful.and just don't have the taste for salt that others do, for example.
