My son threw up on my down blanket. I washed it in my front loader washing machine, it smelled really bad when I took it out of the washer. I thought it was just the smell of wet feathers. After drying it 3 times the blanket still smells like chicken feathers.
Does anyone have advice as how to wash a down blanket and how to get that horrible smell to go away.
