try 'carbona' products. They are those yellow spot removers bottles. One of them is specifically for blood. I think u can get them in local drugstores. But I'm not sure.I've never tried them, but my mother-in-law loves them and uses them all the time.

Shout works very well on blood stains. My kids have nosebleeds quite often so I am always dealing with blood stains. Spray &wash did not work that well. If it is an old stain you may have to launder it twice. Always try to spray a stain when it is fresh, even if you can't launder it right away.

Shout also works on grape juice. (learned that this week) Wink

For very fresh stains--first don't let them dry out! keep wet!
soak in plenty of cold water for a while, rub or scrub with a nailbrush to loosen as much as possible. Squeeze out and pour on 3% hydrogen peroxide (the bottle you use on cuts and scrapes). when it stops fizzing, rinse and add more peroxide. repeat as needed.

warning: use only cold water, never hot.

for whites, you can use chlorine bleach to remove the last vestiges if the peroxide didn't get it all. (peroxide is milder than chlorine bleach).
