a chassid is going to be the third cop


ever to be a police man in ny !

he will work in crown heights


he willnot have to work on shabbos!

Fantastic it is good news. Good Luck to him and I hope more people follow his footsteps, the Jewish community needs to be represented in the Police. The relationship might change between them know.

if I recall correctly, it does not say that he will be a cop in CH, but rather he decided he wanted to be a cop while working as an auxiliary at the 77th Precinct (which is in CH)
He wont be assigned a location unitl he finishes the academy.
