I have a cleaning lady 2 times a week. Today she showed up and announced she had to leave after 1/2 hour..normally she stays for four. I really was counting on her today. I had already removed the linens from the beds. I just had a baby and many things are still hard for me to do myself. I'm concerned she might do this again. Should I just let it go or should I look for someone new?

If she's normally very reliable and you're otherwise happy with her, I wouldn't jump to finding something new. When you talk to her next, just throw in that you hope everything was ok last time and that you also really appreciate her help and hope it was just a one time thing. If it happens again, then I would find someone else.

I'd give her one to two more chances
