I agree with you. As long as the food stays cold I defrost on the counter. If I ever defrost overnight the food is still frozen solid by the next day and it needs to continue thawing on the counter anyway. |

Do you wash your chicken?
Always. I soak it in a big pot of water, and boil it to kill all the germs. I'm not sure if the carrots, onion, salt and pepper help to clean it, but it sure tastes good.
