Can you please explain? I am looking at my Wegman's bag of chocolate chips, which clearly says in bold letters REAL CHOCOLATE. The ingredients are as follows:
Sugar, Chocolate Liquor, Cocoa Butter, Sunflower Lecithin, Vanilla Extract
Doesn't cocoa butter come from cacao beans? I may have to go back to Hershey's Chocolate World to reeducate myself, but that's what I thought.

Did you see the price of cottage cheese? Someone mentioned it up thread and I wanted to compare. And this a local company! Grocery prices are insane here.

It could be your wegmans still has the old bags, you’ll see when the new ones come in- they taste different, look different and you can tell they’re not “real” chocolate
I’ll try to upload a pic of the ingredients if I find it
I have a friend in the business, wegmans told her for a while they can’t get in the cc and then they gave her these new ones

Thanks so much for letting me know about the change. Better run to my local Wegmans and see if I can stock up on the old bags while they still have them! I did buy the real ones earlier this week.
