Yes.... we are 2nd cousins. My father and your father are first cousins. Your grandmother and my grandfather were sister and brother. I dont think you know me though. You were at the levaya? I wasnt really looking for anyone there then, it was such a busy day.

Anyway. She made tons of rhymes.

One year she came over on my fathers birthday on motzia shabbos. Brought an ice cream cake and set it up for him.

She also got him a birthday card and wrote a beautiful birthday peom for him.
She used english and yiddish words.

She made my father cut it and serve the cake.
My father told her how yummy it is and showed her how all the little grandkids loved it. And how she makes everyone happy.
Her face was shinning so bright....
I think I have some pictures somewhere.

She loved making silly rhymes. Especially w the names of the family.
