Well, if mommy plays with these toys, and not the colorful plastic ones, they must be that much better! Very Happy LOL

I love seeing the kids grow up on Imamother!

Here's a picture of Gavriel that I took so you could see the suit I sewed for him for Sukkot! He looked like a little man in it!

Here, I'm holding him up. He's 3 months now.

I didn't even plan on the stripes, that's funny. What's not funny is that I don't have a sewing machine yet so I do it by hand. (I'm buying one soon B"EH.) The seams aren't too strong but Gavriel will grow out of it before that really matters. It didn't cost me anything as it was a fabric remnant. I'm working on creating designs right now so it is really fun and to answer Gamzu's question about time, well, I do this instead of cleaning and cooking sometimes or ten minutes here and there. B"H, he's a sweet baby who I talk to while I'm sewing and sometimes he just watches me. Well, not all of the time, but I do get in fragments now and then. It will take time to create a lot of designs so I need to do it whenever I can. I meant to have it ready for Rosh Hashana but I was having guests and really had to cook that time. I think it was ready for Yom Kippur.

I have fond memories of my mother making us stand still for fittings for most of my life. She got such joy from sewing up anything we ever dreamed of. And we always looked just so! Too bad I pay someone to sew buttons on our clothes, I can’t sew for the life of me!

Reminds me how I once sewed a skirt for myself by hand... to prove to my mother that I'm serious about this and need a sewing machine! Very Happy
