Is anybody afraid that Dena might ruin Esty’s job somehow? The one thing that’s going right for Esty? (We don’t hear much about the kids, though I assume they are precious to her)

Can someone tell me what happened?

Two weeks ago the story ended with Dina telling Eli he can't see his mother.
Last week what everyone is talking about is that Esty is staying by her sister and not answering Eli text.

What happened with his mother? Did the story say anything or it just was talking about Esty spending a night at her sister house?

Esty loves her job
Esty and Eli fight

I'm not so sure about that, isn't there a restraining order? Trust Dina to still hold to that even as her mother is fighting for her life.....

I really hate this story but I admit it’s the first thing I read when I open the Ami. Wink

My mother recently passed away and my brother is abusing me emotionally and even physically and my dad is siding with him and telling me I need to call my brother and beg for forgiveness. Yeah. This story seems unreal and if not for actually living this hell I would think so too.

No bh and we’ve completely cut off contact and I’m in therapy. I’m bh safe. I just wanted to point out that although this is fiction my real life is pretty similar so it makes sense to me.

I would like to first comment on Hadassah. If her sister asks her to stay the night she should have let her stay the night. Hadassah could see Esti is floundering, hurt, upset and at her wits end. Esti is asking to stay one night (not to move in) and she is not a baby she can make her own decision. Now to Eli, what kind of man allows his sister for whatever reason whatsoever to not see his mother who was rushed to the hospital. If chas v'shalom something would have happened to his mother, he would never have forgiven himself. What would be his excuse, "Dina did not let me". He also treated Esti horribly once again forcing her to give him an ultimatum. Shame on him and the whole Beckman family.
