What type of flowers did you get for your engagement/wedding

I should have made it clearer at first but by my engagement the florist came inw ith a huge boqouet of flowers.. I was shocked, then someone mentioned about chutznikim preferring real and israelis preferring artificial, this was nearly 12 years ago so things may have changed. I didnb't really enjoy them as they ended up in teh garbage whilst I was in london so I I have memories is photos.

I ended up having 2 shabbos kallas, which my main one wasin london... there everyone bought me flowers.. they claimed since they wouldn't be at my wedding.... to me again useless, as ii enjoyed them just one day and then had to fly back... if theywould have asked me I would have said something more useful. by teh aufruf dh sent in a small boquet of roses.

be fore teh wedding he asked me this time what I wanted and I told him only artificial... I don'tthink there were flowers on the table and if yes maybe a small vase.

I'm actually happy I took silk cus now I havethem till today....

No flowers for the Vort (were they doing that back then?). Real for the wedding. But I have gotten a beautiful bouquet of real flowers every week and every yom tov for the last 15 years.

That's so nice. We're only married 9 months but dh only got me flowers Shavuos time. One week, I went out myself and bought some flowers. Dh was so surprised, but still didn't spur him to action. Oh well, he has other great qualities to make up for it.
