Racheleezzy-

I marinade the roast over night in roasted garlic heads ( I make a bunch and keep in the freezer), onion powder, 1/2 cup sugar, and teryiaki sauce. Then I cook it on 300 for about 4 hours..its soft , sweet, and yum.

Warning: This recipe is not for the healthy...

pour some olive oil on it, roast the whole head for like 10-15 minutes.

Pop it out of the head when cooled. I put it in mini ice cube tray and then just pop out and defrost as needed.

we're having guests for the entire shabbat plus extra guests for lunch.
fri night:
DH's home baked challah
choumus, red cabbage salad- bought, avacado salad, Israeli salad, sauteed mushrooms
Chicken soup
turkey legs and chicken bottoms roasted in a dried fruit sauce (I'm going to play that by ear) with sweet potatoes and maybe regular potatoes.
warm couscous and walnut salad
baked california mix with ground almonds

Shabbat day:
DH is making samosas
same salads as fri night plus California salad
DH's famous cholent
mini shnitzels
jeweled rice
zucchini kugel

seuda shlishut:
sliced veggies
salads
pasta in a mushroom cream sauce

our guests are bringing dessert for one meal andfor the other I'm debating between strawberry pie and warm chocolate cake served with fresh strawberries and a chocolate sauce.
What do you guys think?
