Is there going to be a third season? If not, I can see them letting Akiva get married, but if there will be a third season, I don't think he will get married this season.
They do leave stories hanging. Remember the one with the Lubavitch sister up north? Do we ever hear of her again?
Question - who were all those people sitting around the table when they read the will? There were all these extra men who I didn't recognize.
You're right- I think I saw her in the background at the shiva maybe. I know there are always these other "family members" around that we don't recognize. Weird.
I agree with two opinions: the characters are very flawed, which humanizes them, but many of the plot lines are so totally unrealistic. I guess I think of this show as a fun soap opera. Remember the soaps? Everyone was conniving and back-stabbing each other, acting on emotions and passion.
I was also wondering about Libi's mother. But she does exists bec Nochum said he promised he's not going back w/o a date (for a wedding) - although when Libi said she wants to marry Kive he did run back.

What about Tzvi Aryehs insecurities and kidney transplant?
He totally made up the kidney transplant to see if his wife would offer hers. Nebach.
Also Shulem had suggested the shidduch to Nochum, kind of. So while it would have been proper to discuss it before, Nochum knew Shulem would be okay with it.
What lubavitch sister up north? Please refresh my memory.
In the first season Shulem goes up to visit her-- something with burying a pasul sefer torah if I remember correctly. It was kind of a peace offering-- I think he didn't approve of her lubavitch (sefardi to boot) husband.
On the way, he meets a girl young enough to be his granddaughter and falls for her-- like father like son, I guess.

Really?! Why do I not remember any of that. Anyone know wat episode. Would love to go back and watch it.
I am totally loving each episode! Wondering too about Ruchomi and Chosson. Is that considered a halachically binding marriage? It seems she feels so bad for her mother she was willing to do this so her mom is free to divorce. ..
Also, how many episodes were in season one? I watched a bunch on YouTube but think there may be some gaps. I don't remember seeing Gitty take back her husband or the details of Akivah's two engagements...
Any idea where I can see all the episodes for free?
Thanks!
Where did u watch it? I only watched the first season #1 & #2 on YouTube. Trying to watch #3 but can't find it in full version
The streaming sites have spammy ads so you have to click around a little and close them to get the episode to start.
I think I used the allmyvideos links, but not sure. With each episode, I clicked to start, and ad would pop up, I would close the ad, and the show would work. I didn't have to sign up with anything.
Episode 10 was dissapointing. Nothing major happening. Ruchami and Chanina have disappeared again. I wonder what Akivah shredding the, drawing at the end of the episode means? Does it signify thoughts to break his engagement?
I think especially after having the opportunity to catch up and watch a bunch at once, it's difficult to get so little each week. My Hebrew isn't perfect so I generally understand overall themes and google translate specific words but I definitely miss some bits.
What was Leeby's point in going over to Kaufman? Just to explain their culture so that Kaufman would understand? It's not like she actually offered any solution to the fact that Kaufman was relying on Keeveh and now Keeveh was just abandoning him, right?
That last bit by Keeveh- taking a bow, definitely seemed to signify "this is the end of my act to you, Nuchem".
Bigger issue question: What exactly is going on with Nuchem with all these airlines? I get that he's in the travel agency business and maybe I just don't know the industry, but why does he have to pay them a bunch of money suddenly? Was he into some shady business or is this the nature of the industry? And who else thinks that regardless of Keeveh, that store in Jerusalem is about to close because Hershey (Heshy?) was saying it's not a good idea right now?
What are "geshashim" or "geshash"? google translate just has scouts (and google in general just takes me to a division in an army) but I get from context that these were comedy tracks?
I didn't think this episode was boring
found it quite intriguing
Nuchem is starting to see his downfall…I think!
Keeve! GO KEEVE! looks like he's standing up for himself
he has so much flair, would hate to see these ppl control his life and every move
hopes he gets out of this mess real quick
