Pre-pregnancy, I loved this one: Seamless Bra

This is from an English website/shop which only caters to D+ sizes, a lifesaver! I'm not sure if they deliver to the States, but they don't generally make their own bras, so I'm sure you could find the same one abroad.

Thanks for the website. I will try it for my 32J daughter. Until now she only can buy stuff at Intimacy in NYC.

If this is the store on Kings Highway that I'm thinking of then everyone with a fuller figure should know about it. So far it's the best kept secret in Brooklyn. Not only do they have the best bras but they help you find the best bra for your figure and then alter it to fit you perfectly at no extra charge!

If I ever left me house to shop I would only go there!

I buy all my bras from Ebay (new though lol) from a US brand, they're called "Cacique" from Lane Bryant. I love them. (I'm a 46 E)

It's close to Ocean Parkway on the east side. I'm not sure of the exact address, but you should know that it is only open 3 days a week.

That's the store. Make sure to call before going to make sure they're open that day.

O - M - G!

I like passed by that store for two years when I lived 2 blocks away from it and I NEVER thought of going in there! It always looked like all they sold was some weird lingerie that I probably couldn't afford anyway.

Thanks tziganka! You're my psychic Smile

There's also a store on the Upper West Side of Manhattan... The Town Shop... They also help fit, the staff is amazing - especially for full figured women - and they have a fantastic inventory.

Go to Orchard Corset on the Lower East Side. Frum owned. They also sell Wacoal for half the price. And the owner's wife (I forget her name) will help fit and find something that minimizes, lifts, and also something supportive so that you don't get pain/helps with tenderness. And they have every size. Also, I don't know if this is an issue for you or not, but I liked having a nice, understanding, and knowledgeable person find the right size.

Crazy as it sounds, sometimes a 40DDD can translate into a 38H (or something like that). Either way, you can be out of there in 10 minutes.

they're comfy and I wear them also the cotton version ... but they don't have the level of support that a full figure needs cause the cotton wears out ... but don't like to wear girdle type bras on an everyday basis ...

I'm a 36DDD when nursing and I find the minimizer pushes everything to t he side- making you look wider. I just use wacoal for awesome support. T- shirts I just dont wear- too big for t hem

How about when one is nursing? There are no nursing minimizers and they have no support. This is my first time since I am married (7 years) that I could wear a normal bra as I am not nursing or pregnant. I feel such a difference.

I don't buy nursing bras--I haven't found any that have minimizers or really good support--I buy my regular bras and have them converted--any lingerie shop should be able to do it for you.
