A page turner for when your hands are busy when you're trying to read or daven.

Windshield wipers and a defogger for your glasses.

actually www.onestepahead.com had something like that. they're skis that you strap on to the wheels for the beach (so you can push the stroller on the sand instead of sinking into it). I think it works for the snow too.

yes, I could use one of these. I'm always asking the vendors at the rest stops "may I please have an empty cup?" I tried bringing my own cup but forget it in the car!!

Here's an idea.

You know how kids are always wiping their faces on their sleeves, even if they have napkins to use? It seems like sleeves are just more convenient, closer, easier etc.

So how about a contraption/napkin thingy-hooper that slides onto the sleeves and somehow or other it gets secured so it doesn't slide off? This way kids can keep wiping their mouths on their sleeves and when they're done eating, just take the sleeve cover thing-a-majig off and you're left with a clean shirt!!!!

I think it's brilliant. Hey, I could make some real money off that idea! I think I'll get in touch with Gerber or something:)

didan, I'll buy it! but you'll also need the "collar" napkin, as I've seen the boys wipe their mouths on their collars!!(gross)

Nice one, didan! Now that we've revived this thread, I know how to make a collapsible negel vasser keli, if anyone can manufacture it.

I want instead of a duvet cover, a series of about 10 snaps on the underside, where you attach a specially made flat sheet. So much easier than trying to stuff the blanket in the cover!

I also want a resizable tablecloth, using snaps or sewn-in magnets that enable the same cloth to fit my table properly with or without the leaves. And it would be even better if it was reversible.

do you think a zipper would work for this?

either way, it doesnt seem so impossible to make by yourself (not the tablecloth, just the adjustable part).

the idea about the blanket cover is brilliant. it's impossible to get those blankets in!

I use a blanket cover, and I've been saying for years they should make buttons or snaps in the corners or such to keep the blanket in. I don't have a hard time putting the blanket it, but the way dh toss & turns- the blanket becomes a lump in the cover! I hate that!!!

I don't think it would be too difficult to make, I should really tell the linen store...

why dont you just add some snaps yourself? sew them on each corner of the blanket, then, invert the blanket cover and sew the other part onto each corner of it.
