This shouldn't and in our experience hasn't impacted the quality of service. (Never heard of someone for who it has, actually.)
But the upgraded plans offer discounts on therapies, dental treatments, glasses for those over 18 (under 18 the discounts/plans are standardized), and so on. |
I'm not sure what you mean by quality of service, but one really big perk of the upgraded plans is they cover what's known as ShaRaP, which stands for sherut refui prati. When you see a specialist through ShaRaP in the hospital you get much faster appointments and much better service. Plus more control over having a doctor vs an intern iirc. At least this is how it was when we used ShaRaP a number of years ago.
