Bshaa Tova! It should go well. You should have a smooth uneventful pregnancy, labor, delivery, recovery, and raising of these babies as well as the rest of your family.

Getting a free nurse depends on many things.
Where you live, If the babies are preemies, if the babies or mother have medical needs etc.
I had a set of multiples (more than twins) and was not eligible for any help although I tried with each person claiming that they knew how to get me the help!

So interesting BH my twins were full-term no medical needs and I got aides.

Congrats! I’m also pregnant with twins bh #5 and #6. I’ve been seeing an MFM since 12 weeks. Go once a month to them and once a month to my OB. At this point I’ll be seeing them more often.

Twin Z pillow or bottle feeding individual pillow that holds the bottles as well or both.

That sounds cool. never heard of a pillow that holds the bottle...
Is there any way to nurse twins? I exclusively nursed all my kids. really sad to miss out on that.

Yes, the twin z pillow is specific for nursing.

I don't have twins but I have a word of caution based on seeing someone else. She kept her kids strapped in strollers and lounge seats and swings literally 24/7 and now they're no longer babies and their development is really affected by it. I know someone else with twins who didn't at all do this so it's really dependent obviously but just raising the point

Yes you can. Some mothers get too overwhelmed with so much.

I know this is off topic but where can I find out more about this?
I’m pregnant too, for now it’s a singleton unless my upcoming sonogram shows otherwise

But I have a diagnosis of CP (bh mild) but it affected my hand and I struggle after birth with holding, bathing and taking care of baby the first few months

Is that something insurance would cover for an aide

Very possible does not hurt to give a call.

It definitely was! Never saw myself as a twin mom. I got over it pretty quickly though and now just looking forward.
I was happy to got to my MFM from 12 weeks. I didn’t feel like my OB gave me enough info and were very thorough and I feel in much better hands because of the MFM. They are just more informative than my OB. The OB visits are always just quick in and out.

What do you mean? They never slept in their cribs? I have newborn twins at home and they prefer the seats and swings…but I only put them there during the day. How long is too much?

2 hours combined is too much. And they shouldn’t be in a seat or swing for more than 20 minutes at a time.

Yes they went from crib to stroller to swing to seat. They had full time help so that wasn't the problem. Their help put them in the stroller and walked around for hours. I'm not judging how hard it is to have 2 babies and then 2 toddlers but you gotta let them loose.

Same here! But I'm still in the shocked faze... can't quite wrap my head around it
I'm a little nervous- my ov said regular visits until 20 weeks. Is that normal?
I have Noone to ask! Not telling anyone...

Must be so hard.
I always use an MFM (b4 my twins) so that’s why I didn’t know when people start seeing one with twins.

I had regular visits. The closer to birth the more appointments.
This must be such a shock for you! We have a couple of twins in my family so I had a lot of advisors 😆
I always knew that there’s a high chance I‘ll end up with twins, but it still was unexpected.

Mine are going to be the first in my family!
It's funny because I was sooooo pregnant lol. With all the cliches- nausea of course but also weird cravings and aversions. It was like my regular pregnancies on steroids.
So when they said congrats it's twins I was insanely shocked but a small part of le was kind of expecting it! And weirdly- even though we never spoke about it, my dh was too! I came home from the Dr and called him and I was e/t is ok but... and right away said no way! Twins???
So bizarre how we both had this feeling!
