If you have pfl deducted from your pay checks you are entitled to pfl after working for 6.5 months somewhere:
1099 employees do not get pfl so do not switch to 1099.
U can first take 6 weeks disability (for vaginal) and 8 weeks disability for c section and begin pfl after that (12 weeks)
Some people do not do pfl or disability but does not mean your not entitled
Speak to your HR department and not your boss!!!

You cannot sign off on something that is illegal. It will give you proof if you ever want to do something about it though.

PSA 1099 can get pfl if you buy your own plan, which isn’t expensive, and you can buy it once you’re already pregnant
