This morning I came downstairs to see dozens of large black ants moving their anthill from somewhere outside to somewhere inside. After spraying the ants with insecticide, I poured a line of talcum powder by my front door which stopped any more from coming in that way.
I love the 'committee meeting' going on in the right-hand side of the photo... It's like they're trying to decide what to do now...

Oooh, nice! My kids and I love ants.
I have an awesome pic of an ant carrying a newly hatched bee up a wall. Funny part is- I didn't even realize what it was he was carrying until I was reviewing the photo.
I'll post it eventually.

Unfortunately it's ambition got the better of it. It fell out of the nest a little later and the cat got to it.

The water in the duck picture is amazing!
Your kids are really having a good time this summer, aren't they!

This is an old picture- over 5 years old. Once in middle of the night, a raccoon came up to my window. So I fed him!
There is a funny story about this, too- my kids were looking at the album and came across this pic. My 2.5 year old didn't know what it was, so he said it's a cat. His 4.5 year old brother knew what it was, but forgot the name.
"No, it's not a cat!"
"So what is it? It's a cat!"
"No, I'll go ask Mama."
As my 4.5 year old was bringing me the album to ask, my 2.5 year old was shouting guesses, "Rhinoceros! Furby!"
